A little penholder sits on the desk. It has a quote attributed to Hemingway carved into the box. The quote reads- "The writer must write what he has to say, not speak it." I have no idea if Hemingway actually said this. I also have no idea if Hemingway wrote this but I think that it is apropos to my own life. If you were to meet me in person you would probably be amazed to learn that I hardly every speak. I usually insist upon the other parties in the conversation to do most of the talking. I am a little introverted and being in the physical presence of people makes me incredibly nervous. Being nervous makes me do silly things. I do not like being silly so I let other people handle the talking part of life
