In the show about Chatsworth House they talked about Kathleen Kennedy a little. She was the daughter of Joe Kennedy and the sister to JFK, RFK, and Teddy. She came from a family of money. She first went to Chatsworth in the late 1930s and she was struck by Chatsworth’s opulence and wealth, "a wealth that no money can buy." What a cool line!
She eventually married the son of the Duke of Devonshire in 1944 and he was killed in WW2 five weeks after the nuptials and she died in a plane crash in 1948.
